A truck burnt down at Abuja

A truck was said to have caught fire and burnt down completely along Kubwa Express Road, Abuja today, May 13, 2016. Here is an eyewitness account of the incident.

A truck suddenly caught fire and burnt down Kubwa Express Road, Abuja. An eyewitness who witnessed the incident from the beginning narrated how it started.  According to our eyewitness, the truck was in motion but it stopped suddenly and the engine also came to a stop.

In about 5 minutes, the engine started emitting gusts of smoke that suddenly burst into fire. The fire gradually consumed the truck completely.  

The surprising part is that the son of the owner of the truck was present at the scene and when he was asked the type of gas the truck runs on, he said diesel.

Diesel is less flammable than petrol and kerosene so it is a wonder that the truck was completely burnt like that.
