Very early at about 4 am today, militants stormed Igando area of Lagos State, robbing shops in the area and shooting in the air.
Reports of the militants attack reached the police who now along with soldiers got engaged in a gun battle with the militants. Three policemen were injured in the process. The residents living around Ikeobi Avenue, Ewedogbon bus/stop have fled their homes to save their lives.
