Felista Wachira, a 28-year-old house-help has been charged with sexually assaulting a four year old girl now blames on the devil. Felista was alleged to have penetrate the genital organs of the minor using her fingers. She was charged on Monday, July 25th with committing the offence between May 1 and July 10 in Nairobi, Kenya.
Felista was also charged with indecently touching the minor without her consent. The prosecution said the complainant' mother noticed her daughter had become quiet and behaved negatively towards the maid. The little girl also cried whenever the mother left for work.
On a fateful night when Felista carried the minor to bed and continued her assault, the girl cried out and went to her mother's room. The little girl said Felista's actions left her in pain, adding that she was asked to tell no one.
Felista was released afterwards, on a surety bond of Sh300,000 in the case that will be heard on August 1.
