Popular star of Grey’s Anatomy meets his old doctor friend once again

Once again Matt LeBlanc  and Patrick Dempsey  of Grey’s Anatomy fame spent some time together this week, making for a fun gathering of two of TV’s most beloved doctors ever.

LeBlanc who is now 48, shared an Instagram photo of himself on Friday, June 24, with the Bridget Jones’s Baby star, 50, hanging out in a car on the set of Top Gear, which the formerFriends star now cohosts.

“Look who showed up at @topgear yesterday to drive the rally car. @patrickdempsey Good to see you buddy,” the Joey alum captioned the snapshot 

LeBlanc formerly portrayed as actor Joey Tribbiani, who had a role as soap opera doctor Drake Ramoray, on the long-running NBC sitcom, which left the air in 2004 after 10 seasons. Dempsey rose to fame as the brilliant neurosurgeon Derek Shepherd, a.k.a McDreamy, on ABC’s medical drama. He left the hit series in 2015 after 11 seasons, when his character died in a tragic car accident.
