Paul Pogba has no regrets on Manchester United exit: 'Ferguson came to my place... he wanted to keep me, but I'd made my decision to leave'

If Paul Pogba has his way, Manchester United fans will have more reason to rue his departure from the club four years ago once Euro 2016 has finished.
The Juventus man is the jewel in the crown for the host nation and is hoping to inspire Didier Deschamps's team to glory in the tournament which begins on Friday, with Pogba's France facing Switzerland at the Stade de France.
The 23-year-old has developed a taste for silverware since departing Old Trafford in 2012. He signed for Juventus in Italy and has won Serie A every year since, as well as the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italia twice.

But does Pogba regret telling Sir Alex Ferguson he was leaving United in 2012?
'He's a coach I respect a lot. But he's a human. I'm someone who says what he thinks,' Pogba said to ESPN. 'Whether it's Ferguson or (Barack) Obama, I'll tell him.
'Ferguson came to my place. We talked. It did make me think. He wanted to keep me, but I'd made my decision to leave.'
Despite only playing for United three times, Pogba has fond memories of his time in England, particularly training alongside Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs.
