THE LOST LOVE

                EPISODE TWO
                   SCENE ONE

Everyone appeared to be silent except for Mrs. Kunle who kept huming the Igbo song while Taiye and Kehinde were confused at Mr. Kunle's statement.
Taiye broke the silence,

Taiye; Dad, (He chuckled) the last time i checked today is 15th April and not 1st April else i would  call this April fool, Please tell me it's a joke.

Kehinde; Dad please its not true.

Mr. Kunle; hmmmmm.. I wish i could but i can't because it is the truth.. Am sorry...

Taiye;  (at the top of his voice)
Dad... What are You saying..? Are You saying i should....

Mr. Kunle; (standing up on his feet)  I am saying we are not your biological Parents and the last time i checked i still remained that Man who trained You like my own Children and so i deserve some respect from You even when i just said am not your biological Father.

Taiye; (apologising) Ejo ema binu Sir.

Kehinde; But Dad how can we just accept that?

Mr. Kunle; am not asking You to accept it but it's the truth anyway. Am very sorry that i kept this from You two.

Taiye; Does it mean I and Kehinde are not twins?

Mr. Kunle; The both of You are twins but we are not your Parents that's what am saying

Kehinde; Then how did You find Us?

Mr. Kunle; That is a very long story to tell however, i will be telling You what i know about your true Parents and how i came into the picture.

Taiye; You knew our true Parents?

Mr. Kunle; No! But i was told about them, i was also given a picture of them to keep so i can show them to You when You are of age.

Taiye and Kehinde; A picture.......? By who......?

Mr. Kunle; Yes! A picture, by Rev. Mother Maria.
He walked towards the shelf and took an old picture of two Young people ''a Man and a Woman'' holding each other hidden by the side of the electronic appliances and gave it to them.

Kehinde; Please Dad tell us about them, tell us everything (while in tears)

Taiye; i think am not interested in hearing anything about them

Mr. Kunle; well You won't be having a choice here, both of You sit down.
