Ilasamaja residents heaved a sigh of relief as cultists were arrested

Last week, the residents of Ilasamaja area of Lagos were able to heav a sigh of relief as security agencies were able to rid the area of cult guys. 5 members of the Eiye confraternity who were on a revenge mission were arrested by the police while executing their plan. 
Suspects
The cult leader, Ayo Shotayo, popularly called AY has been on the police wanted list. It was gathered that Shotayo and his gang are behind the killing of rival cultists in Ilasamaja and its environs. 
Shotayo felt deeply remorseful after his arrest wishing he could turn back the hands of time and retrace his steps. He revealed that July 7 was their day of celebration and it's used to take revenge. When the day clicks, rival group go into hiding to avoid being killed. He confessed that on July 5, while they came down to ikorodu to strategise on how to carry out their operation, the police suddenly nabbed them. 
However, when news of his arrest came, residents living in the area were happy and heaved a sigh of relief. 
Spokesperson of the Lagos command, Dolapo Badmos, a Superintendent of Police said the suspects has been transferred to the special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, for further investigation.
