How a 50 year old woman was found dead in a hotel

Last Friday, 15th of July, a woman at in her 50s usually called iya Ginika was found dead in Taola hotel on Prince Adeyemi Street, Ikotun.

The Hotel

Neighbors of the deceased confessed that at about 9pm she had told her husband she wanted to collect something from a friend. Unknowingly to the husband that she had lied to join her lover in a hotel.

It was gathered from the reception at the hotel that the lovers checked in at 9:30pm and they paid to spend an hour. However, the hotel attendants became skeptical when they saw that the two lovers are yet to check out at 12am. They waited till day break and when they had still yet to vacate the room, one of the attendant, a female thought to check on them but only to find the dead body of the woman, her lover had fled. 

The case has been reported to the Ikotun police division and investigation is being carried out to find the cause of her death.
